How about letting the people that paid for the show, see the finale that was on two days ago?
  • Why does it always take so long to post the finale?

Bob would have been better off on his own, Anna was a mistake to be added (really, a tennis player. Why not a gymnast or high intensity athlete) , Me and my wife have lost interest in this this show now.
  • Still inspiring.

Whoever has a complaint about this show getting old is a moron. People who struggle with weight whether it's 10lbs or 150lbs, struggle for different reasons. It is always interesting to know the stories of the contestants, regardless of the exercises, and how they find the inner strength to accomplish their weight loss goals. Personally, about this season, I'm not a fan of the new trainers. The dynamic of the client trainer relationship plays a big part in how successful a person is going to be in reaching their personal goals. They're uninteresting and boring. If I am getting one thing from this season it is cheering for Bobs team. If a producer was reading this review I have 2 recommendations. First, I would get well known trainers. Names like Billy Blanks! Barry from Barrys bootcamp, Jake from Body by Jake, etc. Second, I would focus a bit more on the backgrounds of future contestants. I'm sure there are people who ask to be on the show who they know will never make it to the end or lose weight, but that's real and we love real television. That's it, so I recommend all the Biggest Loser Seasons including this one.

I have to admit that I was a little worried when they announced that Jillian would be leaving the show. Thankfully, my worries were unfounded. While Anna is no Jillian, both she and Dolvett bring their own brand of inspiration to the show. Though I do feel that Dolvett is clearly a trainer, while Anna is is simply a great athlete who wants to help others achieve their goals. Perhaps she'll develop more of a trainer mentality, but maybe not. Dolvett is excellent and I'd be happy to watch the show with Bob and him as the only two trainers. While I don't agree completely with the other reviewer here, I can say that I also see some repetition with the contestants. Some of them even look similar to past contestants. I do find the premise of "The Battle of the Ages" interesting and since the middle group has been dominating so far (4 weeks into the program) they clearly prove that age alone won't keep you from losing weight and getting fit. Overall, The Biggest Loser is still an inspiring show and it's always amazing to see the final transformations.

Am I the only one who really thinks The Biggest Loser has gone back to the well just a few too many times? Although they try to mix up the races of the contestants a little bit, the diversity ends there. The contestants are always the same, the show is WAY too long (and with too many slow-motion flashbacks of the contestants eating humongous burgers and stuff), the product placement spots in between commercials are ham-fisted, awkward, and obvious, and the manufactured suspense of the editing is painful to watch. I liked The Biggest Loser for a few seasons there, but if you have seen one season, you have seen them all. I, for one, am over it.
